My first appointment was in Assam, Bajali College in August 1959 and served upto ( April 1960). In summer vacation I came home and did not join again for anti- Bengali movement gripped the whole of Assam.During this period I got an appointment from Acharya Prafulla Chandra College, NewBarrackpore (formerly Nrew Barrackpore College).
